Visit your health care provider from the comfort of your own home.

With Lifespan Telehealth, patients are able to visit with their health care providers over the phone and by video.

To set up a Lifespan Telehealth visit by phone or video, please call your provider's office for scheduling. 

 How to Participate in a Telephone or Video Telemedicine Appointment

Before your remote telephone or video visit: As with in-person visits, please verify coverage with your insurance plan and be aware of any co-pay and/or deductible.

Remote Telephone Visits

To participate in a remote telephone visit, you will need to:

  1. Be a patient of a Lifespan provider.
  2. Have an active landline or mobile phone number that your health provider has on record.

How to Prepare for Your Remote Telephone Visit

  1. Before the call, make sure your provider’s office has the correct telephone information. If you have a MyLifespan account, you can update your phone number and other information in the MyLifespan patient portal.
  2. At the time of the telephone appointment, your provider will call you. Please note that the caller ID may appear as "potential spam" or a similar name due to the privacy settings of our phone services.
  3. Be sure you are located in an area that is free of loud noises and is private.
  4. Please be available 15 minutes before and after the call to make sure you can receive the call and fully participate.

At the end of your call, your provider will document the call and provide you with instructions.

Remote Video Visits

To participate in a remote video visit, you will need to:

  1. Be a patient of a Lifespan provider. 
  2. Have signed up for MyLifespan, and have an active MyLifespan account.

How to Prepare for Your Remote Video Visit

  1. Before the video visit, make sure your provider’s office has your correct telephone information in case they need to call you. You can update your phone number and other information in your MyLifespan patient portal.
  2. At the time of your video appointment, your provider will connect with you. Access your appointment in your MyLifespan mobile app by tapping the "Appointment" calendar icon and locating the specific video visit appointment you have scheduled. Tap on the visit in your mobile app to connect with your provider. 
  3. Be sure you are located in an area that is free of loud noises and is private. 
  4. Please be available 15 minutes before and after the video visit to make sure you will be able to connect and fully participate.

At the end of your video visit, your provider will document the call and provide you with instructions.

Telehealth Visits for Children and Teens

You may also schedule a telehealth visit, by phone or video, for your child or teen. To do so, your child or teen must have their own MyLifespan account.

Once you are scheduled with your provider, they will send additional instructions as needed. 

You may be asked to verify that you have read and accept and agree to the above documents as part of your visit.
