Symptomatic Testing  (you have symptoms)

Coastal Medical is providing COVID-19 testing for those who have symptoms at Coastal Medical’s Respiratory Clinics. See below for COVID-19 symptoms and how to schedule a test.

How to Schedule a Test for COVID-19, if you have symptoms:

  1. Send your clinician a portal message or call your practice
  2. Your clinician will review and order the test
  3. Your care team will text or call you to schedule your appointment for testing

If appointments are unavailable at Coastal and you have symptoms, we will assist you in scheduling an appointment at a RIDOH testing site, or you can self-schedule through portal.ri.gov.

K-12 testing sites are also available for students and staff here (for public and private elementary, middle, and high schools only)

Please Note: Due to high demand, testing appointments are generally booking 24-48 hours out currently and turnaround time for results may also be delayed. Depending on your insurance and the reason for testing, you may be also responsible for a share of the cost of testing.
